5,602 HISTORICAL PLAYERS
Construct cross-era teams from a research-backed player repository, with players represented in their prime rather than flattened into a single modern template.
A historical football simulation universe bringing 5,602 players and 240 coaches into one living world.
Epoch XI is a cross-era historical football simulation built around a simple question: what happens when football's greatest generations share the same world?
Build a squad across eras. Choose a historical coaching mind. Select a competition. Then let the match unfold through the same football simulation foundation that governs every team.
Construct cross-era teams from a research-backed player repository, with players represented in their prime rather than flattened into a single modern template.
Coaches are intended to be active footballing minds, with evidence-supported principles, selection tendencies, risk tolerance, substitutions, adaptability and characteristic limitations.
Cross-era matches and competitions are resolved through consistent football rules and deterministic simulation mechanics rather than prewritten outcomes.
The historical player repository and 240-coach research corpus form the foundation of Epoch XI.
Now we're building the product experience that brings those players, coaching minds, competition formats and simulation systems together.
Epoch XI is being built as more than a database, ratings comparison or nostalgia project. The goal is a living football universe in which squad construction, coaching identity, competition structure and match decisions genuinely matter.
Build the squad, choose the historical coach and competition, then let that coach select lineups, prepare tactics, make substitutions, adapt to match state and manage the competition autonomously.
Keep the historical coach active while you approve the starting XI and tactical plan, then intervene at structured match checkpoints without turning Epoch XI into direct player control.
The manager is not intended to be a cosmetic name. Coaching principles, selection habits, risk tolerance, substitutions, match-state behavior and even characteristic limitations can shape the team.
Exhibitions, knockout cups, group-plus-knockout tournaments and leagues are planned to use the same player, coach, rules and simulation foundation.
The longer-term vision includes clubs that carry roster rights, seasons, records, rivalries, trophies and historical milestones beyond a single match or tournament.
Future hosted competition is envisioned around private and eventually public leagues and tournaments, governed drafts, competition-specific player rights, persistent records and Standard or Expert control.
Epoch XI is being developed in stages. These descriptions communicate the product direction and do not represent promised release dates.
